Pathways Appoints New Chief Strategy Officer

GR-Pathways-0815-webSUNNYVALE, CA— August 4, 2015 – Sunnyvale-based Pathways today announced the appointment of Georgia Rock, a highly experienced home and hospice care executive, as the agency’s new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Rock, who formerly served as Pathways Chief Operating Officer and Vice President for Hospice, has been with the non-profit since 1996.

“Georgia is a proven leader who can execute today, while simultaneously developing innovative care strategies for the future,” said Pathways CEO Barbara Burgess. “Georgia has a deep understanding of what it takes to be a forerunner in the ever-changing landscape of home health care and hospice having continuously driven adoption from top management to the front-lines of care.”

In her new role as Chief Strategy Officer, Rock will provide strategic vision and direction to further evolve Pathways’ industry-leading care and support for patients and their families while continuing to blaze new trails in healthcare at home and in post treatment settings. Rock will also spearhead sales and marketing efforts, focusing on forging new partnerships that will enable medical facilities to provide seamless care in line with the agency’s high standards and objectives.

Rock is a graduate of Colorado State University and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
