Pathways Exec. Named Foundation President

Pathways Home Health & Hospice executive Sandra Coolidge was recently named president of the non-profit organization’s foundation.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Pathways Foundation. During that time the foundation has raised more than $25 million to support programs and services for Pathways patients.

As president of the fundraising arm of Pathways, Coolidge oversees the development and implementation of the foundation’s strategic plan. This includes responsibility for the management of planned giving, endowments, major donors, events and grant applications among other functions.

Coolidge’s extensive background in home health and hospice give her the broad perspective necessary to steer the foundation. Coolidge is a graduate of the University of California San Francisco School of Nursing. She began her tenure at Pathways as a manager 15 years ago and later rose to a position as a corporate Vice President.

“We are extremely fortunate to have had the ideal person to assume the helm of the foundation within our own ranks,” said Pathways CEO Barbara Burgess. “Sandy has the strong financial acuity, backed by experience in operations, to lead innovative new approaches to fundraising and guide responsible stewardship of those funds.”
