Pathways Hospice 2nd Annual Links to the Heart Golf Tournament Set for July 14, 2014 at Stanford
Sunnyvale, CA — March 13, 2014 — The Pathways Links to the Heart committee has announced the date for its premier golf tournament. The 2014 tournament will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Stanford University Golf Course.
Golfers at the 2nd Annual Links to the Heart tournament will have the rare opportunity to play on the exclusive Stanford University Golf Course while supporting Pathways Hospice. Designed in 1930 by celebrated golf course architects William Bell and George C. Thomas, the Stanford course is consistently rated one of the finest in the world.
Links to the Heart Committee members are: Co-Chairs Gunilla and Tom Follett, Patti Aalgaard, Chuck Alloo, Bob Rider, Ronald A. Castellino, MD, George Cavender, Mari Chazen, Clarence Ferrari, Jr., JD, Kris Klint, Steve Player, and John and Sherry Rayner, and Scot Strotman.
The 2nd Annual Links to the Heart Golf Tournament will begin with registration at 11:00 a.m. a shotgun start at 12:00 noon. The registration fee is $375 per player or $1,500 for a foursome. The Hole-in-One prize is a new Lexus, compliments of Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. The registration fee includes 30 free practice balls, a welcome bag, box lunch, refreshments on the course, golf cart, and dinner following the tournament. Pathways Hospice is seeking both business and individual sponsorships for this annual tournament. All proceeds benefit Pathways Hospice, which provides end-of-life care for patients throughout five Bay Area counties.
Sponsorships are available in many dollar amounts or as in-kind donations. Gifts in memory of a loved one are also accepted. Sponsors receive a range of benefits depending on sponsorship level.
