Pathways Links to the Heart Committee held its 7th annual Links to the Heart Golf Tournament

The Susanne Lussier Memorial Tournament

2019 event Co-Chairs, Gunilla and Tom Follett, proudly hosted Pathways’ 7th annual Links to the Heart Golf Tournament in memory of Suzanne Lussier on Monday, July 15.  Over 120 golfers enjoyed the newly-renovated holes on the renowned Stanford Golf while supporting Pathways in an overwhelmingly successful event.

Suzanne Lussier was known for her big heart and giving nature.  A volunteer extraordinaire, she was involved in numerous community service projects and served on Pathways Hospice Foundation Advisory Council in the early days.  It is only with the ongoing support of generous, caring, fun-loving, and thoughtful souls like Suzanne that Pathways has been able to provide patient and family-centered hospice, home health and palliative care services for over 42 years.  Suzanne’s husband, Dick, was in attendance with his family to offer a heartfelt toast to Suzanne. Friends Kris Klint and Dodie Mullins delivered a special tribute.

Major tournament winners were: Putting Contest, Kelsey Robinson and Bryce Sevy (tie); Men’s Long Drive, Colin Jordan; Women’s Long Drive, Lisa Brandin; Men’s Closest to the Pin, Bill Stasior; Women’s Closest to the Pin, Sally Jones; Pathways Heart Drive Hole, Tim Rider; Men’s First Place: Sam Chazen, Hunter Sevy, Bryce Sevy, and Brett Rodriguez, sponsored by Dr. Anthony and Mrs. Priscilla Marzoni; Women’s First Place: Kris Klint, Carol Lowitz, and Lisa Brandin, all of whom golfed regularly with Suzanne Lussier for years; Mixed First Place: Bob and Connie Lurie, Marie Tuite, and John Kennaday.
