On November 1, 2016, Pathways will become the first home health and hospice organization in the San Francisco Bay Area to launch the electronic medical record system Epic. This bold move–one year in the making–will enable Pathways to exchange patient records with local organizations like El Camino Hospital, Kaiser, and PAMF smoothly and easily.
Internationally renowned author Alexander McCall Smith, CBE, FRSE was the featured speaker Thursday at the 26th annual One From the Heart Awards Breakfast in Palo Alto. He entertained the 550 guests with tales from his latest books, and discussed HIV/AIDS and hospice care in Botswana.
